Memorial Giving
The most common form of personal giving is the memorial gift. This may be a contribution in memory of a deceased loved one or friend, or in honor of a special occassion, such as a birthday, anniversary or graduation. When your gift is received, you will be sent a thank you letter as confirmation of your tax deductible donation. If you request one, a letter acknowledging your memorial gift will be sent to whomever you designate, such as a family memeber, friend or honoree.

Bequests
Naming the Ohio Chapter Myasthenia Gravis Foundation in your will is an easy way to make a donation. The gift may be restricted, if you wish, for specific programs, or you may leave it up to the discretion of the Foundation to use it in the best way possible for renal patients.

Trusts
If you have established, or will be establishing, a revocable living trust, the Ohio Chapter Myasthenia Gravis Foundation can be named as a beneficiary.  If you wish, you can establish live income for the benefit of heirs in a will or trust.

A charitable remainder trust may be funded with cash, securities, or real property.  One or more beneficiaries, named by the donor, will receive income for a specified period of time with the principal reverting to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation upon maturity.

Charitable gift annuities may be arranged between the donor and the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation whereby the donor makes a contribution to the Foundation and one or more beneficiaries receive a guaranteed income for life.  Upon the death of the beneficiaries, the remaining balance reverts to the Ohio Chapter Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.

Endowed Legacies
A minimum gift of $10,000 to the Ohio Chapter Myasthenia Gravis Foundation's endowment will establish a fund in your name to support any of our direct assistance, or educational programs.  The principal will remain intact, while the interest or dividends are used to support your chosen area of interest.
