Types of Gifts
Charitable gifts come in all shapes and sizes,
the most common of which is cash, check or money order. Personal property
or appreciated securities are also popular forms of giving. These
two methods usually allow the donor a charitable tax deduction for the
fair market value of the asset.

Memorial Giving
The most common form of personal giving is the memorial gift. This may
be a contribution in memory of a deceased loved one or friend, or in
honor of a special occassion, such as a birthday, anniversary or graduation.
When your gift is received, you will be sent a thank you letter as
confirmation of your tax deductible donation. If you request one, a
letter acknowledging your memorial gift will be sent to whomever you
designate, such as a family memeber, friend or honoree.
Bequests

trust may be funded with cash, securities, or real property. One
or more beneficiaries, named by the donor, will receive income for a specified
period of time with the principal reverting to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation
upon maturity.
